Those Nights

Long Time Coming

SO its been along time huh?

Oh, blogging drive, where are thou??? lost it la, just lost the will to blog. but i guess im glad I still have it here to type out on once in a while.

Classes have been ok, I have started getting assignments by the truck load this week, needless to say, I have been pretty stressed out lately. Sunburst is this Saturday! I cant wait! :) even though the line-up is dissapointing, Im still psyched to catch NERD and Korn! should be awesome, and plus, Im chillin wit Kim, Deb and whoever else that is gonna be there!

should be good! :)

So im turning 20 in a couple of weeks! Im psyched, its sorta big.. no more teens.. I guess Im reflecting on how much Ive changed recently..

I've tried to make it a point to keep up with my work as much as possible, I want those Straight A's in my results.. so that I can at least be proud of some stuff! hehe But also, i try to be responsible in other areas, like cleaning? taking care of Poopie.. I dont know..

I think I just realized that its time for a more mature change. This doesnt mean that im gonna stop being the good ol me! haha I have too much fun being myself! :)

Laughing, goofing around, making others laugh, its all good, and plus if I werent myself, I dont know wat I'll do when im upset. Like the other day, I was pretty upset bout stuff, and I decided to start dancing n dressing all goofy! ...... can you guess wat happened? I was all good after that! :)

BUt yeah.. 20.... lets be a bit more mature shall we? good.

Ok ok, so heres to a new semester in LimKokWing!

I managed to get really good results last sem! I got A- for Design Management, Principles of Retailing & Fashion -somethin i cant remember! and a stupid B+ for Business. bodofied. but oh well! im still happy about it! :)

now as for Sem 2! I have 4 subjects as well-

Creative Development, Retail & Logistics, Principles of Marketing and Fashion Marketing. hmm so this shud be pretty interesting!

im just so so happy to be back in college! :D feels good to see everyone again n to get all dressed up for classes n also to be checkin out the latest eye candy in college la! hahaha

not much as of yet. but oh well!

oh I also just got bangs!!! eehhh!! i look like some tanned china doll la! so innocent looking! hahaha im happy, n Ive already got ideas for shoots!

other than that. life has been.............. interesting......... lets just keep it at that.

I had the best break in 08-09! Riyana n Kris totally made my break so good! frens n family.. can u honestly ask for a better time??

Im heading off to Manado, Indonesia on the 6th! haha snorkeling n beach bumming!

I think somehow everyone can identify with this song.. somewhat at least.. its always gonna reflect on their first love, the ones that got away and also the ones who were taken away.. Ive had this song on repeat pretty much the entire day and been also singing along, I reckon my dad could sing along woth me right now! haha

Other than that! Ive been into the Idol season, yet again, so far I have a favourite! ANOOP DESAI or better known as NOOP-DOGG! hehe

this guy is Indian but hails from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. First glance= super geeky, prolly awkward singer. But the second he opened his mouth n sang. omg omg omg, I (n all the judges) were BLOWN away!! Soulful soulful, im so wowwed!

So i decided to Youtube him, and I discovered that he actually sings in this acapella group called the UNC Clef Hangers! they're so so cool! watch it ya'll! :)

Im so happy! im now the proud owner of Cafe Del Mar: Volume 1-14!!! 17 discs baby, gosh i've been on such a high lately with this ambient chill music... btw I've updated my blog player with my fav songs from the collection! :) ENJOY!!

I've been on a spring cleaning mood, cleaned my entire room and that avalanche in the closet. Gosh, im so ready to get married! Can cook, clean..... now to learn to do laundry! haha wonder if My mom approves? hahahahahaha

I shall post pics soon of that tho, im super duper proud of myself for what Ive accomplished so far! guess with good music and attittudes, one can do anything that one sets his/her mind to, huh?

Im sorry for the lack of updates. I've been out pretty much everyday n the whole day!

Christmas week was insane, night after night of parties, food, fun and great spirit! I love Christmas n have received some awesome gifts! will blog bout tat next year! lol!

n i htink ive gained abit of weight from the food, which is good!

Next, Kris is back from Aussie!!!! woots!!!!! n her best fren n his brother is also here n so weve been taking them out, hence Ive been out the entire day n back very late (or early in the mornin???) n am so so so knackered!! but its been super fun!!

Today is New Years Eve n I feel like i wanna write some super long post bout the year, but I just dont have the drive to do so now.. im so tired. I await and interesting kick ass(hopefully!) nite and I will do the whole 'year round-up' post in the next couple of days!!

Movie Povie

I managed to catch 2 movies this week!

The first was a cartoon called BOLT and it has the voices of John Travolta as Bolt and Miley Cyrus as Penny! NOt really gonna tell u what this movie is about, but if u like Madagascar, u shud enjoy this movie! it was so so cute!!

I couldn't contain myself from just baby-talkin and squeling the whole time whenever that cute fat lil hamster, Rhino, was on screen! choooo cute! but that definately was the hightlight of the movie for me! haha! cutie putie!

The second movie I caught was Body Of Lies. Im not gonna lie, I had no idea what to expect from this movie coz I knew nothing bout it, but I actually sat there and was so into the movie! Its starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe!

Its all about the war in the middle east, n how they try to catch a terrorist who has been setting bombs in the UK. what a fantastic movie to watch, I really felt like I got a tour thru the Middle East! IF u enjoyed The Kingdom, then ud definately Love this movie as well!! It really made me think alot about the situation there right now, and about how alot of this undercover stuff is going on and how dangerous it really is.. makes me appreciate life here. :) great movie, action action action!

Other than that, me n mom did manage to complete like 3/4 of the Xmas shopping so far! :) so happy! and today, I single-handedly decorated my tree, I cleaned the house and I also put a few cute red n silver deco in the bunny's cage! with leftovers, I also decorated my lil plant outside the house! hah! im so domesticated, I love myself! lol!

I have been sick this entire week. cudnt sleep much coz the pain of my sore throat was killing.
n then my nose gets all stuffed up.
n i cant hear properly.
this sucks.

on the other hand.
Fashion shows were totally awesome.
Yesterday was just pure insanity, with hectic changes
Yet it was so much fun, got to Twenty One for the first time!
and i also made a whole bunch of new friends, learnt new things and had a great day.

Runways & Kandi Kanes

So so, on Friday me n Trish did a fashion show for the Red Carnival Welcome Party in conjunction with AIDS Day at Club 9 & 6 Lounge in Heritage! it's Ramesh's new club. So did 2 different shows, the first was for Kariza dresses (oh la la so pretty!!) with Drunk With Emotions accessories.. phewwww!! there were 4 dresses for each model (4models) n omg as usual, backstage and changing was hectic n mad!!!!

there was some issues with the coreography though.. hmm. then the second part was a show for 360Degree's clothes and also Drunk With Emotions accessories. Same cue, 4 changes (rush rush rush rush!!) but it was fun. Also, a little thing that I wasn't aware of, they were also showing stuff from the Undershop, so there were 4 male models there. didnt know bout that being in the itenary, but it was fun anyway, we just stand on podiums.

all in all, I enjoyed myself thoroughly! cant wait to get pics of the show!! n the crowd was fun! hahah they kept saying 'smilee laa!! smilee!" hahahah N i cud hear Micah shouting my name! lol! wat fun! :D and in return for the show I got my coupons for stores and gift vouchers! haha I've already placed my order for 360 Degrees! cant wait to get it!

and then on Saturday... my my my my my!!

1st- I had a fitting for Micah Boutin's show- went pretty well! It's presented by Dubleve and its gonna be at Twenty-One, Changkat on Thursday, 4th Dec at 10pm- so do come! its free!

and then it was HED KANDI at Euphoria!! whoohoo! they presented DJ Andy Warburton who was frickin-A!! and also they had a Percussionist, Ian C!! wat-a-nite!! oh n a big THANK YOU to Patrick for the guest list!! :D I am not broke because of you! lol!

the club was packed, as usual and seriously Andy was so so so amazing!! was dancing the nite away with my college mates and boyyy was it fun! I LOVE dancing on a crowded dance floor and just going buck-wild! dont really care bout wat ppl might think with crazy dance moves, lol! As long as we all have fun, why not ay? ;p and we sure did have fun! oh nb we got to take pics with Andy after that, he was real nice! hope they come down n play again!

Twilight

I didn't read the book, in fact I've always thought it looked pretty cheesy to me, but we got free tickets to the movie, so I thought, ok, why not?

And also before hand, I kept reading bout how girls were swooning over the lead, Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen, n I just couldn't for the life of me, understand why.. until I watched this movie..

ok ok, so even with the first scene, me n Trish were unimpressed with his strange whiteness and red lips... but as the movie continued, and with that intense and intruiging stare, I have to admit, I was hooked, mind-body-and-soul.. Edward Cullen is the new crush I have. no not necessarily Rob Pattinson, but more of the character Edward.. everything about him is just so mysterious and it keeps me wanting more!

The movie was, (well in my own opinion) great! I loved every second of it, start to end, that I watched it twice in a row! The story of a normal girl falling into this forbidden love with a vampire is just so... romantic?? haha and the way he gazes at her, the sheer longing for her blood.. ahh it makes me go nuts! I don't really know why Im so hooked to this movie, But I just am..

Storyline for me was good (I know some really disagree n i can I understand) but I just loved everything about it la.. the scenary was breathtaking, with all the forests and all.. and I want a vampire boyfriend. I swear, so that he can carry me around and climb trees with! lol

...aissshhhh I just don't know.. I just loved it so much, and im now gonna go buy the books.

haha Oh i wanted to add! this is kinda a chic film la i guess, alot of the attraction is Edward, James and Carlisle(yummy!) but yeah! was watchin it in cinema, and like the moment Edward & Carlisle came on screen, you could hear the girls in cinema swoon! im so dead serious!! u honestly can hear everytime there was a hot scene, girls just swoon and giggle! :D:D

But, lately I've been getting comments from people, about how I supposedly resemble Olga Kurylenko - the latest Bond girl from Ukraine! :0 i knoooww rite?

are they blind?? Olga is waaaayyyyy hotter than me, n there is no resemblence, at least none that I can tell. But yes, like just quite a few have told me that! haha i guess I'll just take it as a compliment? :) don't agree but I guess it's sumn good, huh?

hehe no big deal la, but still am happy! My only hope is that I can do more magazine shots from now on........... so my fingers are crossed! I still have to be practising alot tho, so its gonna be more shoots with Bibs n Trish n whoever else that wants to shoot! :)

Also I was catchin the ANTM Cycle 11 marathon this weekend, n went thru all the pics online, n seriously I've come to the conclusion that this season is the total shizznits!!!

All the shoots have been so on! esp the water ones! Great season! n the winner was amazing! :) last season was total crap. the ONLY good shoot was the paint one. everything else was bollocks!

Our Weekly Escapades

So I've not been clubbin since Halloween, n tat nite was off-da-hook! so I was Dying to go dance dance dance at Euphoria along with the rest of the world (or at least the whole of KL!)

N my oh my!! it was ONE krayyzee nite!! 1st off- I've never seen the club so freakin packed! it was insane!! like, even at 10.15 there were looongg lines both at The Deq n the normal entrances. I mean, Mixtape IZ their best nite, but tat was insane!!

it seemed like so many ppl I knew were there, how fun!

met up with chickadees, Jinxi & Chui YI (;P) n omg we were screamin like it was back in Sri Aman! haha i have Video proof! lol! n me n Mel also danced alot with her fren, Zura who I've never met till tat nite on the dancefloor, n the best part was tat we totally hit it off dancing the whole nite thru! :D

my feet were honestly blistered! wat a great nite, I cant wait till Hed Kandi this Saturday!! whoohoo!! DJ Andy Warburton is spinning n damn its gonna be ke-rayyzee! MOS never dissapoints.. :)

oh N i caught Madagascar 2 lastnite n daymn it was funnay!! good movie, if ur in need of a jolly time! :) n i thought Quantum of Solace was.... well actually I liked it alot as a normal movie, but as a James Bond movie it totally failed la. completely. but still, enjoyed it much, n can I say DANIEL CRAIG?? oh la la!

Also, just a random thing: had dinner last nite with the parents at Itallianies, Sunway. n oh it was good, but my dad made a complaint bout the steak, n the guy gave us a free Tiramisu.. n.. ohmyjesus.

i promise that it was the BEST EVER OMG slice of Tiramisu I've ever eaten!! it was so soft, delish, the cake oozed with coffee ( n i think Kahlua? ;) n the cream was so good., im gonna go there n just order it the next time! do try it if u get a chance to!

So this week i found out that Pooper is a girl! haha imagine that? i think i should have known as it kept going towards the shoes.. ;)

on another note, this week has been somewhat uneventful, until last night! I've been wanting to get a new phone, but I wasn't making a big deal out of it la, figured I'd look around till Dec. But yesterday my loony parents woke me up from deep sleep, n my mom was showin me her winning comic strip in this contest she joined.

It was all framed up, n they both were smiling. Im thinkin (all grumpy) why these ppl crazy ah?? n then they asked me to come to their room. So i drag my bum out of bed, still stoned n ta-da!! My mom was holding a Sony Ericsson box in her hands n few seconds later i realized there was a phone in there!!

Haha! she won the phone from the contest n gave it to me!!! :D:D i was like 'whoooaaaahhhhhh!!!' so yeah, am really happy now, n plus, its actually a really awesome phone! i'd never wanted a SE, coz Im a Samsung loyal fan, but after playing around with it, Have to admit that it's pretty cool! :) thanks mom!

Also, I've just come to realize how much God has been blessing me lately. Praise God and all that he does! i know this is corny, but I desperately didnt want to eat rice n curry @ grandma's tonite, was so so dreading it, n on the way there, I prayed that she made something else, n true enuf, she made mihun! :) oh thank you so much God!

Blessing me with a new phone- I feel good coz then my parents can spend that money on sumn else, and I didnt have to suffer with a dinner I was dreading. Also, I cant wait till Feb! Parents n Kris n I are going to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam!! :) should be fun!

I miss her so much, it doesnt likely that I'll be going to Melbourne anytime soon, as tickets cost RM3000.. :( but she's comin back after Xmas! cant wait cant wait cant wait cant wait!!!!!!!!!

So I've been meanin to much to post these up. But I've just been having such an incredibly busy (yet, satistying week!)

Ok so I know this post is gonne be so narcissistic, but wtv. Im kinda pleased with myself this week, and I think that I deserve this, so bear with me please, chiquititas?
I've had just the most amazing and fun week of my career (pfft! wat career??) ok well, my modeling life?? i dunno, wtv u wanna call it la.

I've been doing shoots since last-last Friday, Monday, Wednesday and also did the Zeitgeist German Fashion Show at LimKokWing Uni on Friday! :D i was so so so thrilled with that! really wanted it and in the end, was one of the models chosen and better yet, I modelled Nthiran's dress!! oh it was so gorgeous n dare I say, that I looked pretty sweet in it? hehe I was freakin sewn into the dress, IT WAS AMAZING!!

Backstage at fashion shows are the most hectic things. Ever. It is what u see on tv, scrambling to get models into garments, freakin if sumn is wrong. lots of body parts seen, safety pins and last touch ups n frazzled designers! mmmmmmm I love it! all the hustle n bustle is joy! :)

The Rain Splattered Windshield

She opened her eyes and all she could hear was the sound of rain splattering on the windshield... She was drenched, head to toe, and freezing because she went looking for him.. Another typical fight that started off from nothing- led to a big bang.

Heavy words, tears and screams were exchanged, frustration was at the bursting point between the both of them, she didn't see them recovering from this... ever.There was just no more strenght in her to fight, no more will to continue, and she could tell the feeling was mutual.

Suddenly from the silence, a sound breaks the drumming of the heavy rain upon the windshield, a sob and a quavering voice that said 'I'm not good enough for you, I am not perfect and you deserve someone better...' and after hearing this she lost it. She just lost it.

She'd never screamed at a person like that in her life! Purely rage driven madness was pouring out of her soul. "You're not perfect enough for me? are you serious? I am the one who is not perfect enough for you, which is why you always have something to complain and scold me about every freakin day. Im the one who has always taken the blame for the fights, and 98% of our fights are started by you coz of something that ur not happy about with me. I don't do the same to you, Im not the one with a problem against u, You are the one! u start everything and always clearly show that Im never perfect enough for you. How dare you say that to me??"

and after screaming that out loud and so angrily, she stormed out into the dark and rain, tears of great frustration streamin down her face and vowed to Never go back, Never return.. She walked away.. and then she stopped- dead in the rain, the freezing water pelting unforgivingly. She thought hard about what she was doing and what it would mean, whether she could really leave for good.......

She thought about how this would affect him, and how it would affect her. She asked herself if she still had any more strenght to carry on doing this with him. She definitely didn't anymore. She just couldn't.. She was done with all the drama, all the yelling, all the fighting and all the crying. She was just done. But then a little voice creeped into her head and asked whether she still had some love for him. She took a while looking for the answer. it was hard. But she got her answer in the end......and she turned back.

She returned to you.

I izzz done!! lol! So im done with my exam today, and I have successfully completed all 3 assignments (ma hai ah they r thick!!!)

I feel so proud of myself coz they're really thick.. And have to hand it in tomoro, but yes! My 1st semester of of Degree is DONE DONE DONE!!!

now its gonna be 2 1/2 months of bliss and bummminnnggg!! :D but im thinkin of goin to Aussie to bum with Kris n frens.... butttt $$$$ might not be enuf.. therefore, I am thinking of getting a job! :) preferably in Pyramid, then I can just walk there, n work! need some extra cash n need to fill my time wit something otherwise I'll just bum too much n end up spending money on food n entertainment.. am currently low in funds!! :(

2ndly - ICKY got owned on his bday! hahahaha my American stomach (the bottomless pit) has opened up this week! I ate a TON of food yesterday at Tony Roma's n I so totally beat his butt at it! hahahha owned sial!!! :D this is truly history, as he normally finishes everything.. hehe n then just now I had Nasi Lemak Ayam at Darus and a Paper Thosai as well... hehehe... :D

Now im saying this as a big "wft???" to those ppl in the council..- why ban such things?? are they soo bloody insecure about ppl losing faith so easily in the religion just by practicing a special form of exercise????? ITS FREAKIN EXERCISE MAN!!! not a bloody religion! grow up for God's sake...... literally too!

I mean, this is why i hate extremists. in any religion. I didnt like when the Catholic church or any churches made a big hoo-ha n wanted to ban the Da Vinci Code. It's come to that time in a semester again, Final Assigments...

ugh.

For Business Management, I have to create my own Business Plan, so theres alot of thinking and researching and compiling loads of nonsense.. but its slowly comin along la.... I have a final exam for tat which will be 40% of the semester! crazy!!

Then for Retailing, I have to do a big report on our Store visits based on Retail Design, n the cooky lecturer is really expecting us to write a ton based on each element of Design for the Boutique n Dept. Store... :S

For Fundamentals of Sketching pulak, all of us r still very confused on wat we have to do, but its something like our Retailing assignment, but just 1 store?? or sumn like tat.. wtv it is, it really isnt relevant to wtv we've learnt this sem in that class... BOLLOCKS!!!

And for my fav of all (a big NOT!!) is stupid Design Management. Got to finish up our Marketing presentation for the group work thingy, then an individual summary on a Business Book??? n then we have to compile all our work to a journal, n there'll be a quiz also.... '_'

sigh.............

He didnt do anything wrong lately, maybe it was a long time coming, but he's been such a sweetheart lately, but I just tumbled into this whirlwind of doubt and Im finding it hard to climb out.

Its not that I doubt him, I doubt myself, I doubt my willingness, I doubt my heart.. I wanna be happy and I wanna try, but Im just finding it so hard..

Maybe It's just this phase Im going thru, Im growing up, and Im changing. Its nothing to do with him, its just me. as lame and corny as tat may sound to you, that IS honestly how I feel.

All I needed was a break to fall back, head over heels in love again. but maybe tats just too hard.

N when we finally talked bout pullin the plug, I somehow couldn't let go?? I don't get me, sometimes, I dont get myself... I find myself thinkin of the future, and where this relationship is really going... all I see is fog... yet I cant seem to let go.

Its not that I Dont wanna try, I honestly do, Im just finding it hard, im drowning in this whirlwind of change and self-reflection.. i dunno...

But anyway, we talked n alot of tears were flowing, were gonna try again... So cross ur fingers and wish me luck!

Mmmmm now tats the feeling of satisfaction! Yesterday, we had this real big do at my grandma's house for my Aunt from New Zealand, Hemachi, n the a LOAD of family was there along with a HUGE TRUCKFULL of food! I swear!

ok well maybe not a literall truck, but ud need a van to carry all tat food! phew!! it was awesome possum man!!

I mean, I absolutely LOVE family gatherings, all my crazy aunts, uncles, cousins, all come together n we go crackers together! lol! its always me running around, gettin the food there on the table, helping out, helpin wit drinks, n anything I can. N its saying hi n catching up wit relatives n all tat jazz.. always fun! then lets come to the food.

ZOMG! there was just tons la, im not even kidding! There was:

* The entire works!!! FEAST!!*

-of course my favourite Pork Ribs (hehe Kris!!) tat we always beg my aunt to make, rice, putu mayam, sodhi, chicken, mutton, devil's curry chicken& pork, beans, mamak mee, mihun, lasagna...........

-i made bread pudding, n there was coconut cake, kuih, kesari, grapes.......

oh seriously it was a FEAST i tell U! I started eating from like 8, n only finish at almost 9! haha had a few helpings n by the end of the night, I was realllyyyy STUFFED to the brim!

all of the aunts were in the hall n all of us were sitting there like beached whales, with the look of over-eating n satisfaction on our faces from all tat food! haha! n the uncles were outside, drinkin n I was popping grapes into their whiskies! hahahhaha! :P all the food+alcohol+merriments= Bliss in this family! :)

So all in all, a great nite, think my aunt needed so see that we're all here for her.... Wish Uncle Roydon was here too, but he went back already.. we spent such a good time together on Friday morning n afternoon.. Met them n the other school kids, n took them round KLCC, Pavillion, Bukit Bintang n Sungei Wang, so tat was really nice..

I really need to go to New Zealand for Christmas la.. I really want to.. god I miss Hannah so much.. she wud have loved being here.

So I've been on a House Music craze lately, its all I listen to, constantly. Im at this moment at home with headphones jammed in my ears, tuned loud n listenin to an awesome mix by a certain someone. lol!

N I watched Mamma Mia today n u know wat? Ohemgeee it was sooo good!! seriously, I was singing singing singing in my seat n havin a great time, laughin n clappin at parts! was soo cute n oh so freakin beautiful too- Greece! :)

Let's just say that working with her was bliss. Pure bliss.

Having my best friend paint me/make me up, and then shoot me was just fun, and we had so much fun- laughin, joking, singin, and trying out new stuff..

And im SO SO SO proud of her!! She's improved TREMENDOUSLY by leaps and bounds in her photography and make up!!!! We got some great shots! :) loved workin with you, my long-time-lover!!! Cant wait till we do it again!!!!!!!

So im happy with the shots! :)

I feel like I want to say so so much, but I cant.. Gosh I just found out from Mel today that our friend, Jinxi-cat's boyfriend passed away.. he was involved in a car crash...

I dont know him, only met him once, but still, the shock is still present from hearing such news... Gosh, I cant imagine wat Jinx is feeling now, no wait, I can somewhat imagine, since I had that horrid,horrid vivid nightmare, it was just pain..

But this is reality and it must be so so. So much harder. Jinx babe, I know that there is nothing that I can say that hasnt already been said... But babe, I LOVE YOU, we ALL Love you so so effing much, and were here to catch you, and keep you safe and help you back up, never u doubt...

U know I was gonna talk alot about things these past few days.. but I just feel so uninspired to do so, know why? oh coz my dad n I just had a huge fight to which he now says no more shoots. watever man. i dont even get it. im so so sick of all this nonsense, i cant stand it anymore la.

ugh. n the day was great too, he just had to ruin it. Its non stop mid-life crisis.

anyhow- im SEVERELY and TERRIBLY addicted to House music now.. cant stop listenin to it!!!

Yesterday I did the Fashion Flirt Show at The Attic in Bangsar n we did it for Shoes, Shoes, Shoes & Sew and Soul! :)

there were 4 other models n Jai & Fiqa were among them. we got 3 pairs of shoes n bags, so it was quick changes for the Shoes3 show. then it was the Sew and Soul show! it was the first show tat I had to change n boyyyyy it was rush rush rush! :) loved it! :)

oh the sucky thing was tat the event was delayed like, 2 1/2 hours coz it was Raya2 n rainin so not many ppl showed up at the designated time. ugh. hate waiting. but it ended up being fun n it was over too soon! aishh..

and then today I did a shoot with Trisha! :) it was for her assignment for Photography class. so we did 2 concepts! n they were both so so COOL!!!!!!!!

1st- she painted a spectrum on my face! :) it looked like I was crying out a rainbow, n we shot it at my pool coz of the blue background n damn its cool! :)

2nd- she did this pretty design on my left eye with liner n blue shadow n it looked soo good! we shot against the plants and its real noce la so cant wait to see it! :)

at least few things in my day went well.. ugh. im so tired now...

Singapore's F1 Night Race!!

wow-wow-wow!!
now this weekend was a blast! i mean tat for the ear drums n for the eyes! ahh I cud go on n on, but Im too lazy, so just gonna keep it simple.

We drove down to S'pore, only took us 4 hours, and straight had lunch(dim sum!) n got to the hotel - Pan Pacific Marina Bay which is right next to the track! :)

If ya'll still have not heard, Singapore hosted the first ever Formula 1 Night Race - n it was done on the streets!

So they closed of lots of streets n made it into an awesome possum challenging course! n we stayed right next to it n u cud see the track and cars, let alone the whole city cud hear the FRIGGIN SCREECHING ENGINES that I LOVE!!!! oh crap the loudness was.. ear drum blowing! haha seriously, watchin races on tv, i know its loud, but nothin cud ever prepare me for how loud it REALLY is. its such a screech tat ur ears hurt n u have to use EarPlugs, oh but I loved it soooo much!! felt so real u know?

IT was such a dream for me to finally go for a F1 race! I mean all these years when they host in in Sepang, its still expensive but this time, the tickets were all sponsored and so were the hotel. So a big thanks to my uncle!! :D

The place was packed with lots of rich rich foreigners who obv have lots of time n money to follow these races ahhh but it was fun!

Day 1 - Qualifying Sessions.
We had Stamford Grandstand Tickets n they were pretty sweet, so had fun watchin all the cars zoom n the occasional slip into the side as they lost control of the car. nuthn major tho, they just spun out to a lane. Massa of Ferrari made pole position! :)

oh n Pa insisted on buying me a Ferrari t-shirt!
I Resisted coz it was waayy too expensive, but he bought it anyway! $120 for original, but its so nice!! :)

Day 2 - Historic Race Day!
in the afternoon, went around Orchard Road with Periama shopping, well moer of like browsing. i actually dont like shoppin in Singapore, its too expensive, i can get the exact same from home or Bangkok for 1/3 the price. anyhow did manage to buy 1red clutch, and GLADIATOR wedges!! ahhhhh!!!!

there were tons there but had to resist, as i addy have 3 pairs of flat glads, but there were so many high ones and high heeled! so found this awesome pair n it was $30, so decided to treat myself! they're soo hot!!

ok now Race Day- got awesome seats too! Turn2-3 Grandstands!!! how awesome man, we're at the turn right after the grid, so get alot of action, oh n there r big screen projection tvs there, so u watch the tv coverage as well as the live thing happenin! :)

the atmosphere was so fun! ppl all cheerin n happy! we all gasped and laughed and all at the action. read papers for coverage im too tired. but basically lots of drama- it was AWESOME! n Alonso won! good on him!!

n also we got to go on the track after tat! so took pics of rubber and the pits and Heikki Kovalainen! lol!

ugh im feeling so lethargic now.. been havin long days recently and feelin kinda sick- back aches, headaches, u name it. went out to Euphoria last night n it was...............

Patrick played more house, but it was really good, say it was a great way to unwind last nite! :)

also Uncle Roydon & Hem Achi from New Zealand (Hannah's parents) came down last night. they're chaperonin a high school trip to Vietnam so they'll be there from today till the 9th. Then Hem achi will be spendin almost 2 weeks with us, I think...

It was so so good to see them! Haven't seen them since... 05 or 06.. n actually Hannah was supposed to be on this trip too.. :( but it was good to see them la.. Uncle Roydon is fun as usual, but you can really just see how sad they are la.. I can see in their eyes that they miss her constantly.. was sad la...

Like, I'd catch Uncle sometimes lookin at me, n then lookin away with this look on this face, n I cud tell tat he was missing her n wishin she was here.. I do too........ darn.. we used to have soo much fun together...

N I miss Caleb too! wish he cud have come down, but think he had classes.. He's always full of his crazy jokes- haha! :) oh well, maybe a trip to New Zealand for Christmas or in January might happen..

Reach For the Stars

That's what I always believe in. You should never give up dreaming and having big plans for the future. If you make the effort to try to reach them, you'll always achieve something good out of it. Perhaps you won't always get what you want, but you'll discover new things or stumble upon new opportunities! :)

I've always had big plans for myself since I was a kid. Ask my family, I've always dreamed of being a model, of going away for foreign exchange studies, of being in the papers, of doing fashion and all sorts of silly-sounding things.. I mean I've had alot of crazy dreams.... BUT I've always strived for it..... and I will NEVER let anyone stand in the way, or tell me I cant achieve what I want coz Im not capable or wtv..

Look at what I've managed to accomplish so far. I always dreamt of going on a Foreign Exchange Trip since I was 8, and out of the 400+ ppl tat applied, I was one out the 38 chosen ones... I may not be a signed model yet... but at least I AM going somewhere with it.. Im not big, im practically a no one, but... Im slowing improving, learning more and achieving small dreams, slowly-but surely....

I've always wanted to do runways, n altho im too short, I still do fashion shows at college and next week, Im at The Attic, Bangsar for a Fashion Flirt event! and I've always dreamed of being in Seventeen mag one day, and this morning- I got to do a small shoot wit em! :) I'll be in the December issue!

The only person that can tell me tat Im not capable of achieving those things is myself. As long as I try my best, I'll be happy. Im not gonna listen to ppl or family members tat say; 'oh u should wear a padded push up bra la, then only nice....' like waaatt??? r u serious???

who said dreams are for losers? of course I do not get all tat I want.. God has yet to grant me with some nice boobs, but I'm very comfy in my own skin.. no car yet.. lots of things Tat I still dont have.. but im proud of myself for always trying my best.... :) So never give up ur dreams, sweeties..... and dont listen to those who just dont believe in you!!! listen to ur heart.

They may not always be the path that you choose, but If u make an effort to achieve them, u never know... :)

I had the randomest/wierdest yet happiest dream this morning! it was soo weird but strangely I was so happy during the whole thing, in fact everyone in my dream was, and I can remember everything about it!

Dreamt tat I was pregnant! lol and like, just about to give birth! hahaha I think I was bout, 20 in the dream, n was having a baby, n my parents were at the Hosp. wit me n they were so excited! haha Mal was so happy too! n I was so happy and excited that I was having a baby! weird kan? i kept thinking, 'this is gonna be so awesome! this feels so right..' n it did.. i dunno, i kept rubbin my belly, which btw was totally cute and big!! :) LOVED IT! :)

ahh was super excited.. then before my water even broke or b4 I even 'gave birth', I woke up................ :/ oh well.. i still felt so incredibly happy for some weird ass reason! lol! no idea how this thoughts came to my mind but yeah..

What a week!! i was busybusybusybusy with assignments this week! 4 due- so I was just stressed the whole time..

but its done! I had to make a Fashion Journal for Sociology and its a cool project la, but theres aload of researching for fashion history, influences etc to do.. n it is 30% of the coursework, so yeah! thank god its done, im ok with it la..

Design Management- both assignments are an effing waste of my time. this module is a waste of my time. scratch that- a waste of ALL our time and money. hate it. dont learn anything.

Business Management- both me & Tatz are pretty much done, so tats cool.. this module is pretty good, learn alot, its tough but we have a cool lecturer..

now...... im a bit freer but i still have to work on my Retailing final project, Music Genre for Sociology, and...... re-bloody-do the group assignment for Design Management coz shes not satisfied with out stuff.

on a lighter and Happier note........... I got called by Seventeen Mag! hahahha no, its not bout the contest,(reckon they'll only announce it on OCT!) but they're asking me to do a shoot with them- its like a story bout the effects of clubbing on our body and skin.. So its not some glamour one, but im still excited!!

although its on the same day as my Buss.Man class, I've already turned them down once, I cant let my dream to be featured in freakin SEVENTEEN Mag again! :) am exxcciiitteeeddd!!!

also, Ive just opened a Modeling Portfolio account, and its so great coz u get to connect wit models, photogs, stylist, etc from all over the world, and the happiest part is, I've been getting asked to do shoots from alot of people! =D so we'll see how tat works out! :)

So i had another shoot with Bibo today at college and it was partly for Pooven's make up assignment! wow! today was...... exhilarating!!!! we did 7 different concepts!! it was everything from simple, to artistic, to glam, to happy then to fierce.. i feel soo 'accomplished' today!! LOL

shot like 500 shots man, n boy did we manage to get some GREAT ones! =D tee-hee!! im happy!!!

Also, Icky my hunny-ness-ness-ness is running for President of the Monash Uni Student Council (MUSA) and he is representing the SPEAK party! he is currently the Vice-Pres of MUSA. So I think that he's been doing a Great job so far campaining and all tat jazz, he's got a great party and I think that they're definately ready to lead MUSA on! :)

He'll make a great President, only thing is that recently a lot of controversial crap has been happening with a blog formed to boycott SPEAK, just because the author of the blog (remains anon) has some personal hatred towards the current President of MUSA. stupid idiot man. behaving so childish and blaming others just bcoz he has some vendetta against 1 person, he tries to smear other ppl's name in mud.

But anyway. Listening to Icky tat day during his Presidential nominee speech and watching the debate between him, his VPs and the other party, honestly, I was blown away! really. and im not saying this just because I'm his girlfriend, Im saying this as an observer and he freakin brought the house down man!! with his presence, the way he stayed composed even tho the mike kept dying, his command, his speech and his confidence just SCREAMED -PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!! the other party kept stumbling and they didnt make any sort of impact. this round, they fell flat.

So today was a bad day- turned Good!! :)

I had to go to college for a replacement class and for some reason I thought that it was at 9.30. so when i got to class n saw no one, i started bitchin la, complainin bout our stupid lecturer and called a fren, n then i saw Taps at the corridor, so we started talkin.. THEN it hit me- Class was at 2.......... 0_0 i banged my head against the wall. sigh

so didnt wanna drive all the way back home, n I ended up chillin at the plaza wit Taps, and we talked and talked about anything and EVERYTHING! haha from relationships to class, to family and love, and music and movies and Zimbabwe and EVERY thing! hahhahahha it was soo good! we sat there from 10am - 2pm!! felt great to chill with one of my closest frens in college, since I havent seen him much.. :)

then went to class to see tat crap lecturer, who still is crap coz she thinks we're 12years old. wtv.

came home and indulged in HUMONGOUSAURUS strawberries!! largest I've ever seen, by far!! :) n htey were super yummy n sweet!! :) oh I LOVE Strawberries!

tried to stain my lips wit them n make it all red but it didnt work. all i did was get bits of strawberry stuck between my teeth! hehehehe!

Bangkok Pilgrimage!

So im back! Back from Bangkok! Back from a shopping spree for 4 days n also a lot of GREAT Thai food! yum! :)

i had a whale of a time, as usual! Stayed at the Grand Diamond Hotel in Pratunam this time, n it was pretty nice! the location tho, was great! it was right next to a new mall tat we discovered, called Platinum Fashion Mall n its a mall for wholesalers, but u can still buy single pieces! so I shopped wit my mum n aunty, The whole day!!

bargained n bargained n enjoyed the Thai accent (as usual!) n got aload of good stuff for really really cheap! tats why i LOVE bangkok! :) ahh it def was good to be back in Thailand! n dont worry there were no protestors where we were, tat only happens at the embassy area.. so we were all real safe..

n all of us stuffed ourselves silly wit Swensen's ice cream as it was real cheap n TON n TONS of great Thai food! i love Tom Yum Kung- n we had it for almost every meal n my uncle said that if he were to have some more, hed have it comin out of his ears! lol!

oh n we also hit MBK Mall- it was good as usual, but i think my fav place to shop now is Platinum! also went to Erawan and Chatuchak weekend market! ohhhh that place was C-R-O-W-D-E-D!!!!!!!!!!!! super packed n HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!!!! but the great thing about it is the fact tat stuff there is super super cheap!! n as long as i had my good cool coconut juice in my hand, i was alive! lol!

oh! n great news! i managed to stumble upon a Charles & Keith clearance sale in a mall (genuine Charles & Keith!!!!!!) n guess wat? it was freakin 70% off! i bought a FAB pair of sexy black heels for only RM55.50!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!! super happy!

other than that, we mostly went around for food n did go up to the Sky Bar in Baiyoke

Sky (tallest building in Bangkok) which was on the 83rd floor! so we got a beautiful view of Bangkok at night! :)

all in all, it was a fab trip n i had a great time!

i bought: 7 dresses, 6 tops, 5 panties, 5 earrings, 3 necklaces, 3 shorts, 2 rings, 2 shoes, 2 belts, 1 jeans, 1 pants, 1 bra, 1 skirt, 1 bag & 1 headband! :)

:) Mal also had a great time in Manila, from what i heard! he won US$500!!! :) guess ill be gettin a good Christmas gift! lol!

Hmm i havent been updating lately, guess i've been busy wit assignments and Grey's Anatomy (again!) lol! cant ever get sick of it!

well classes were cool so far, im lookin forward to next Wednesday as we need to go on a Site Visit for my Retailing class! hahahha guess where it is? PAVILLION! hahahaha this is awesome! so as a class 'work' were supposed to go there n meet up, then get into groups n go into stores n see how they designed their shop, their retail concept, ceiling, lighting, music, etc la! haha for 3 hours min n take pics n notes! lol! our assignment is to go to a mall! LOL! i love this class! :)

nuthin much has been happenin this week i guess, its been rather quiet.. BUT!!!

ill be going to Bangkok, Thailand for the weekend!! woots!!! tomoro im leavin n gettin back on Monday! haha its like.. the 4th time in Bangkok n were going shoppinggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO EXCITEDDD!!

Classes Machaaa

Deiiiii!!! hahah ive been just busy busy busy wit wat? nothingness lately! lol! no laaaa more like, busy wit class, watchin the Olympics n bummmmmiinnnggg around!

But yes yes my classes have been on n they are.. Not bad!

Business Management class is pretty interesting but its just very much on listenin n dicussing stuff la.. not much on creativity... I really love my Fundamentals of Sketching class which is incidently, nothin to do wit sketching (insert laughter). Its more on like.. sociology of fashion.. brand management n tat sort of stuff but its cool!

1st assignment is a huge Fashion Journal about anything we want about Fashion.. so basically there aint no barriers n its due in 3 weeks, gotta get a move on! Then there is Principles of Retailing class which is... pretty good.. i think the subject is interesting but the lecturer is a bit weird. no doubt that she knows her stuff but i just cant keep up wit the way she teaches it.. n im not alone in this.... she keeps grabbin her boobs for warmth... hmmmm.....

but oh well! n lastly, Design Mangement class is so far.... a bit dull la.. i dunno just 1 class so far n it didnt leave much of an impression on me, but i think its got to do wit management skills n brand management n tat sort of things.. will fill in more later..

oh n yesterday was Tim's farewell party! He's also leaving to the US for 4 years.. it was fun as I got to see Sim and Nick again! :) my fellow YES ppl! Sim n I were the 2 ppl who put on the most amount of weight from the US, glad to say we lost it all! hahhaah! :) good times..

So i recently bought myself some bling stickers so stick on my phone just coz im flossy-flossy like that! n i got a pink/silver colored one n now my phone resembles one of Paris Hilton's! hahahhahhaha crap!!!! i wanted red/silver for candy canes but elek.. so wat to do?

anyhow, at the back of the packaging was the instructions that just made me laugh soo hard as i read it!! n its MADE IN CHINA btw! i kid u not, but this is exactly wat was written at the back! :)

Operation Method.

1. Please remove dirty and dust on the surface when stick

2.Please tear the cell-phone which stick at the back of the sticker

3.After stick on the cell-phone, it needs 30minutes that sticker could be totally fixed.

*Take down it from papercard and please pay attention to not being injured.

*When sticker is assaulted by brute force,acrylic will come off from the cell-phone.

*It is not the products stuck on the skin directly. The person with sensitive skin will cause skin it ching and imflammation. So please dont stick it on skin directly.

*Please place the product on the place where children be unable to get.

I've been a fan of The O.C since its very 1st episode! I feel like i kinda 'grew' thru my mid teens years with it. Ive been a faithful fan ever since n watched every single episode from every season!

one of the major reasons why I love the OC is coz of its excellent choice of songs at the very best moments, i honestly have no idea how they manage to get it 100% right every single time! :) I've collected all 6 Volumes of the Music From The O.C albums! :) n each of the songs remind me of a special scene in the show, n whenever i hear some of them again, i also remember exactly how i was feelin when i first watched/heard it!

So i've decided to compile my TOP 4 Best Music Moments from The OC!! watch em all n see wat i mean! :) they're magical!

Leavin On A Jetplane

So watever problems that me n the boy have been havin has been cleared up! :) pheww! finally, after soo much of talking, fighting, tears and alot more talking, we're cooler than ever! its makes me so happy and really appreciate him after we work things out, i dunno i guess im just glad that we bother enuf to WANT to work it out n not just give up la..

So we're cool! =D

but the saddest thing ever is that Farah's gone....... :( my best friend left this mornin at 9.40am to the USA.. she's gonna be studyin there n im happy n freakin proud of her (not to mention jealous!- she's gonna be havin such a GREAT time!!!!) but im gonna miss her tons..... She was always the one i cud count on for everything, from shoppin like whacks, spillin our guts out to each other over pearl tea, to going crazy n fallin down all over to being the shoulder to cry on. She was always the best fren from high school tat I never had any shit wit. it was always great, n she knew me the best n strangely she was the only friend who i really listened to n would really take advice from..

n now she's gone.. i know she'll be back in a year for summer n all tat but im just gonna miss her soo freakin much. ugh i did not get any sleep in almost 24hours coz was at the place since 11pm, wit Venilla n Cixan, n we were talkin n helpin her pack n all tat shiznits, no sleep at all! then it was off to the airport at 5.30am since they had to be there early..

alot of ppl came, dewi, liyana, nadiah, me, venilla, cixan.. her family n when she was givin us all the hugs, every1 was crying.. everyone. i guess its just so great to see that she means alot to alot ppl, its sumn she shud be proud of!

so we were all crying together as we watched her walk away, n hugged.. sigh.... its just really sinking in that she's gone la.....

I need somebody, help!

I've been feeling like complete crap.. Last night n today, just pure unadulterated crap. My heart feels like its breaking from all the hurt its gettin......... i just feel so..... i cant even describe it...

Im not in control of this anymore, its out of my hands n i just dont know what is gonna happen wit us.. :'( i feel so useless, so stupid...

u know i absolutely love the pure thrill of being in control of my pain. why else do u think im fascinated by piercings n tattoos? altho i have no tattoos i think part of why emo ppl get it is to know tat they r in control of their pain, n somehow i totally get that. To know that no one else can hurt u as bad as u can hurt urself is pure assurance. its power and control but most of all, its a shield that u can hold from the rest of the world.

i really think i need to talk to someone. the only person in my family who I'll talk to freely is miles away in a different country.. i want a person who'd care..

i had a good night, went to Euphoria again n it was fun!

This morning was absolutelu fantastic! Trisha n I were asked by Stephanie Goh to do a small tiny shoot for Cleo Magazine's Retail Therapy column where they review a store n theres a smaall picture of a model wearing the outfits la. So it was cool! i was representing the 'Charles & Keith" boutique of gorrgeoussss shoes n handbags! :)

wore blouse+top from Forever21, belt, shoes & bag by Charles & Keith!!

it was a cute shoot coz we had to smile! hahaha not used to it, but got the hang of it n i loved the results!! :)

Trisha was uberrrrrrrr cool!!! she was more punk rock ish representing a new brand in Pavillion, not sure wat its called but i think its Dr.Denim? i dunno but it was soooo funky! hahahh she looked fab! :)

so apparently I'll be out in the November issue n Trish is in Dec!

then we hit OU n had fun....

till something ruined my day n i think this just gonna possibly ruin my life. im so dissapointed in him right now i cant even explain it, its such a small thing to ask for n yet he cant give it......... its nothin material. its the fact that he cant let this go, he cant ignore her for me. if she really meant nothing, why is it so hard to just give me the peace of mind? i just no longer know wats gonna happen with us........

Panicking At The Disco

I had a good nite! really! i got a random call from Rueben Annai in the afternoon saying that he has tickets to the Panic At The Disco concert (didnt even know they were havin one!) n asked if i wanted to go. so.. im not a fan, i know like 4 songs from em, n they're pretty ok, but was never into them but i went along wit him and his fren Adrian n u know wat? it was actually fun!

ok so it was the smallest concert ive been to, the thing is tat it wasnt promoted, not many knew bout it n it was at the Bkt.Jalil Putra Stadium. got in n they had barricaded 1/2 the stadium so they dont waste space. in total i think there were only like 600 ppl? not many! but it turned out to be cool n different! One Buck Short opened n they did a good job then PATD played, n honestly even tho i didnt know most of their songs, i enjoyed myself!

They played well n were interactive wit the crowd- who btw, was made up of mostly kids below 17 n alot of international school kids (i hate them-intl school kids r way to stuck up n think they're all tat!), n i was shocked! felt old n for the 1st time ever, i began to see these kids in a whole new way!

i saw them as annoyin lil yuppies who were just makin loud scenes wit their frens n then, all of a sudden, it dawned on me!!!!!!! *Dumm dummm duummmmm* i was lookin at the old me+frens! omg! that was wat me, misha, n liz used to be like whenever we were at concerts! we were loud n we did wtv we wanted n we just didnt care! ahh! hahahha i mean we always enjoyed ourselves n thougth we were the shizznitts but now i realize how some older ppl must have thought of us! lol! oh well, we grew up so tats good at least! loL!

but anyway, PATD was good! the lead vocallist, Brendan was really good n cute too! :) all in all, a good time! also i got to sit at the place where they control the music n it was at the back so it was cool to have a different perspective in a concert, really nice to observe ppl! thanks again to Annai & Adrian annai! :)

had my Management class today n although it was just intro to the subject, it sounds like a workload n already me n Tatz were like; 'wow! we can addy feel the stress!' ahhahaha :) hope tomoro goes well!

oh n I've been Youtubing piercings alot these past couple of days just to cure my boredom, n u know i've always had a thing for piercings.. i love em! i love all the adrenaline rush you get from thinking of it, n then after its done, u realize tat u were just trippin for nothin n they end up lookin great!

so i have had altogether 9 piercings done in my life, ive had my 2 on my ear lobes, cartilage, nose n tragus pierced, the nose one closed tho, i took it out as it was troublesome in school. but i really like my tragus! :) honestly it was painfree! :)

but i've always wanted to get a tongue piercing, i think its nice, n more over i wanna get one JUST to know how it felt, know wat i mean? i dunno tho, its gotten a bit too common n um.. skanky? n plus Mal wud kill me as he HATES piercings n tattoos (anything for u hun!) haha but u know just sometimes i cant help wonder how it feels like.....

n i also think that Corset piercings are gorgeous!!!! ahhh they are!!!

the thing is tat they r only done for play purposes, as in photoshoots, once u get em done, u cant leave it in for more than 2 days if im not mistaken, so its just a short thing, nevertheless, its pretty!

but then again, some ppl have the weirdest piercings! honestly! like wats wit a 'Cleavage surface piercing'.. well surface piercings on a whole, r weird but wtf??

oh n DO watch this video i found of a guy gettin dared to get a Prince Albert done live on air!! ahh i cant embed it, but its soooo funny!! holy shit i cant imagine how ANYONE can get genital piercings, like WAT THE FLYING?? but watch it!!! click me! :) seriously tho, its funny!

Farah's farewell party was yesterday too at her fren's apartments in Mutiara Damansara n it was funnnn!! so great when a bunch of us Sri Amanians get together la! n we all go cuckoo together! had bbq, we sang, we laughed, we danced, we did all sorts of nonsense! hahahha but im gonna miss Farah so so sooo freakin much! i dont want my best friend to leave... god im gonna cry alot at the airport! :'(

Euphoria!!

yes yes yes!!!! We finally went to London's Ministry of Sound's 1st club in Malaysia called Euphoria for those of u who still dont know!

omgies!!! it just opened n its a big club n they r well known for their House, electro n techno music la, so i thought that their hip-hop/rnb nites wud either suck n just be average but we were all soo mistaken!

It was Ladies Night so me, Trish n Deb got in all for free! :) n 1st off- the club was really big n SMOKE FREE!! woot! smokin is banned in this club n I LOVE TAT!! u can actually breathe properly n ur skin, hair n clothes wont reek of ciggarette smoke! n it was cool in there, the deco is damn nice, spacious n ur not allowed to bring drinks to the dancefloor which is great so no drunk idiots can slosh their shit around n get u wet.

the music tho. omg. omg omg!!!!! it was the SHIIZZNIITTTSS!! dead serious! we were all BLOWN away by how awesome it was! the hip-hop/rnb was soo awesome n the DJ Patrick actually knows wat he's doin n later on around 12ish, he started mixing in House n for a person who only layans a few of the songs, i THOROUGLY enjoyed myself! damn son!!! how many DJ's can keep everyone enterntained like that?? freakin awesome man!!

n summore the floor 'vibrates!' hahah no theres no vibrators or wtv, but its wood panelled n the bass just makes it vibrate so much, its AWESOME!! ahh last night was serioulsy on o the best nites! tat was officially:

Now my internet is driving me nuts!! i cant open my blogger n cant see pictures! ugh! i hope its just due to some Malaysian heat wave (its soo hot!!) that its melted the cables or wtv i can blame. hmmphh.

but dad came back from Bombay yesterday n he brought along 2 sarees for me!! :) yay!

the 1st one is a pale pastel green wit a really beautiful white lace border n patters on the palu. i like it, my only worry is tat this particular shade of green might not look too good on me.. hmm.. i think if i was fairer it'll be better but i like it alot anyway!

the 2nd one is an off white saree wit sequins all over! ohhh its sooooo gorgeous!!! :D i love love it! the sequins r in silver so it loves glittery n i cant wait to make my saree blouses! i think im goin for a stringy sexy one for the white saree n will think of sumn for the green one!

def cant wait to wear em!!!

n he also got me a cool modern salwar! :) its red n gold n has a churitas bottom! im soo gettin in touch wit my Indian roots! lol!

im so sorry for the late updates! ugh! i've been busy lately by just bumming around!

i saw X-Files: The Movie n thought that it was.... ok... cool at times but ok. i have to say that my FAV part in the entire movie was when they zoomed in to a picture of President Bush n the x-files theme played! hahahahhahhahahahhahhahhaa bloody funny man!!

n i also watched The December Boys -a movie with Daniel Radcliffe! its bout these 4 orphan boys who went on a vacation to a beach n they learn things about their lives n meet all sorts of ppl! this is such a cute-laazzy afternoon movie! its tat sort of mood, but i liked it anyway! do give it a shot if ur bored! :)

So im attending the AFS Malaysia's Gala Dinner on the 9th of August! im soo excited! n the theme is black & gold n u can wear either formal or traditional! n i've been wanting this dress from Topshop since January but it costs RM300, tat day when i went over there, my heart stopped as i saw it was 50% off!! so i flipped n looked for a 6 or 8 n there were only size 10 left!! thats like huge for me!!

but the lady said tat there were no more other sized even in the other stores n i decided to just try it on n let it die in my head buttt to my huge suprise!! IT FIT!!!!!!! ahhhhhh!!!! i had had to get it! RM148! :) whee!! i only had to stitch the top part at the boobs (duh...) but it looks great n im wearing it for the gala dinner wit gold accessories!

n i had also got another great Red knee length-decent dress from MNG when they were havin sale! 50% off as well- only RM99! i liked it alot coz i thought tat it was so different from the other dresses i have! cant wait to wear it! :)

other than that it seems like i wont be goin to MTV Asia Awards this Saturday at Genting. darn i really wanted to go... sigh..

if ya'll weren't there, u missed out on a really good show man! ok ok, so i was bummed that i had missed the Chris Daughtry concert at OU ( if im not mistaken u cud only get tickets by winnin it or purchasing a Sony Ericcson phone since they sponsored it..) :( but oh well, i headed over to Sunway Pyramid n decided to watch the Monash Street Carnival: Battle of the Bands instead! :)

It was drizzlin, but no matter n my cousin Tristan's band was up 1st! altho they had a bit of tecnical difficulties, they definately rocked! he's great the bass, wasnt the 1st time i've watched them performed n i def think tat they had gotten better! Mal was also em-cee ing the event! im soooo DARN proud of him! =D he kept the crowd entertained, as usual! *whoottt MC ICKY!!!*

n a few other bands i liked were Freeloader(they were a crowd fav n they're damn good la)! n i freakin enjoyed In Case God Fails!! they're all Indonesians n they played Daft Punk n a few other songs, they were soo cool la, their attitude n style just kept the crowd lovin it n they def stood out from the rest! unfortunately they only got 4th place.. oh well cant wait to hear more from em!!

The guest bands Blister & Frequency Cannon were like freakin amazing la, seriously. esp Blister! n F.Q's front man n bassist were like the coolest guys ever la! hehe they're funny to watch! at the end of the nite, a band which i missed while i bought food- Analogue got 1st place+ RM1000! Freeloaders -2nd place+ RM700 & i cant remember who got 3rd.. hehehehe

but def a fun fun event! :) makes up for me missing Daughtry!

Yesterday, the 21st indicated that Hannah has been gone for 1 month addy.. its hard to believe how fast time flies by. And i guess I've also been thinkin alot bout how we never know when our time is over....

We never really know whether we have just a few more days left, or months or years.. life is just way too unpredictable and short! Hannah's life had just only begun n yet she was taken away, makes me think alot about all the stuff tat i've accomplished/want to accomplish in my life.

You know, my family has never once, in the 3 years & 3 months of our relationship, ever liked the fact that im with Icky! the reason: because he's Malay. yes. my family is just like tat n that makes me so sad. The best part is they have been trying soo incredibly hard to break us up, they dont allow us to go out n they pray for us not to be together. And they say that they'll disown if i ever marry him! tats incredibly messed up.

They say tat they know tat "it wont work out n tat they dont want me gettin to serious, n that im still so young , oh! they dont want me to convert to a Muslim". Fine. i get it la, to be honest i completely understand why they are so worried, i understand, but wat i dont get is the fact tat they just cant realize that I AM HAPPY!

I am! n if they r so sure tat it will never work out then why r they so worried, just leave it be la, kan? I wish for once that they would just stop being selfish and start thinkin about how I feel, how Im taking this. I've finally found a GREAT guy who just loves me and worships me for me, and i do the same for him. He keeps me safe, he treats me right, he tells me when i've done wrong, he never fails to correct me, he advices me, he helps me, he makes sure that i dont get sucked into a hell-hole of smoking and drugs. He keeps ME SAFE. without him in my life right now, honest to blog, id be some shit-headed alcoholic pot smoking slut. i would. but i am NONE of those things, not even close, bcoz of this guy who protects me and wants wats good for me.

The zany thing is that my family has NEVER ONCE taken the time to meet him and get to know him, they have never invited him over for lunches or wtv the way they did to my cousin's Indian bf. Honestly, i tell you right now, if they had gotten to know him and like had him over for 6 months or 1 year, and by then if they STILL didnt like him, then id listen to what they were saying and i'd end it. BUT HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO DO SO WHEN THEY WONT EVEN TAKE THE INITIATIVE TO GET TO KNOW HIM??? how can i listen to a word they say?

i love my family, i've always admitted it, but i stand here today, 19 years of age and sadly admit that my own flesh and blood do not even know who I am. They say that im stubborn, n darn right i am! im one stubborn girl, since a toddler, every1 will say, I've always had to do things my way even tho ppl told me not to and I always learnt it BY MYSELF. if i made a mistake, i learnt it. but wit me is tat ive always been that spirit who just needs to do something so tat no matter what they consequences were, i can look back being proud of the fact that I HAD THE GUTS TO TAKE THAT RISK. n they shud also know by now that when it comes to me; the harder they try to pull away, the harder i'll cling on to.

Like i said before, i dunno whats gonna happen wit me n Mal, u can never plan these things. what life has in store for us, i dunno, maybe we'll break up soon, maybe in years or maybe never. I DONT KNOW!!!

all i do know is this: I have one life. And i dunno when it will be my time, but all i know is that im living it for me and I. AM. HAPPY! Im so happy to be with him, why be miserable when i can just be happy?? I know they love me, but if they really want to do wats right, they'd be happy for me and just accept it.

tats all i ask for. this is my life, please let me make my decisions, you can advice me but ultimately, please let me feel the joys or pain of the decisions i make. Know that I am capable of celebrating all my life's happiness and even more capable of cutting myself and letting it heal. One Life. One Chance. Thats It.

HOLYSHINDANGOESOMIGAWDWHOAAHHH!!

The Dark Knight was. whoah. no more than whoah. amazing. thrilling. dark. intruiging. spectacular. movie of the year. most def!

I have been anticipating this movie so much! Been a fan of the older Batman movies yet i hated the previous one; Batman Begins, but perhaps I never got it. Nevertheless, even tho its directed by Christopher Nolan who also did the previous movie, this is one movie that truly deserves a round of applause!

This movie is actually showing us why Batman became a target to the police of Gotham City. Batman (played by hottie n great actor-Christian Bale!) is being targetted by the Joker (played by Heath Ledger R.I.P), a new terrorist in Gotham City. The mobs have asked for the Joker's help and so The Joker now commits crimes and brings chaos to Gotham and Batman tries to intervene. Also there is a new DA in town, Harvey Dent, who supports Batman and tries to ensure the safety of Gotham is intact.

You have to watch this movie coz it is just so amazingly done! I think after watchin it, one wud truly understand why Batman was in the position he is in later.. But most of all, this movie is truly all about the amazingness of The Joker and mostly the amazingness of HEATH LEDGER's acting skills. omg. i never liked Heath, always thought he was average, but his performance in this movie just blew my brains away! i swear- bits of it is on the screen of the cinema!

He plays the Joker to perfection! with the zany body language, the tongue flicks, the voice-omg the voice! its so hard to believe tat it is Heath! apparently 1 month b4 the filmin, Heath had stayed in a secluded apartment for a whole month to learn more how to be the Joker n he even kept a diary about it. Im just sad tat he cudn't be alive here today to see his MOST BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE EVER!! i think part of this movie's incredibleness was the fact tat its so chilling to watch the Joker, it feels as if, there is no more Heath and the real spirit of the Joker had possessed him. oh n he deserves to be nominated for an Oscar for this role. there is no way any1 this year tat can beat him for this. no way.

btw, the movie is almost 3 hours long but its soo good, they use up the time fully n there is action non stop! Christian Bale also plays Bruce Wayne well! so poised, calm, handsome.. ahh he's good! and props also to Aaron Eckhart who plays Harvey Dent/2 Face. he was pretty good!

the effects n fight scenes (esp ones which involve the Batmobile n Batpod!!) r incredible! Hollywood seems to keep gettin better n better! i think wtv i can say wont do this film enuf justice, so u shud check it out urself.

all i can say is, a HUGE standing ovation to Heath Ledger. He truly, truly deserves it.

If u haven't watched this movie yet, i have no clue what is wrong with you. the only excuse can be tat there aren't any tickets available! coz tats how it is so far this weekend for peak time! Tickets for Dark Knight r almost sold out! so get ur bums up n sneak in to those odd screening times!

Hancock was rather dissapointing, funny at 1st but it just unraveled itself at the end so tat was sad. Wanted was a pretty hot movie.

But i think so far, this movie is on my top for the list of BEST MOVIES of 2008!
Hulk shall be 2nd... honestly. go watch it now.

Camille's Shoot - Round 2!

woots! I am super happy with the pics from my shoot yesterday! Camille asked me to be her model again, so we did it! She had found this great photographer- Aliaskhal and we were at his home studio in Ampang.

She has been workin wit him recently for her make-up portfolio. When i got there, another model was in the process of her shoot. She had white mascara, her eyebrows were white, whe had a white wig n Camille had put sugar n glitter over her lips n shoulders, so she looked frozen! it actually was pretty cool!

As for me, we did 2 shoots!
1st shoot- after puttin on, n wiping off, she finally decided to use black n gold on my eyes, nude lips, and she put gorgeous fluttery fake lashes to my LOWER lashes! lol! it was cool! then she added 2 gold sequined ribbons,(which she made by herself!) to my neck n top! hair was covered in black lace! it was so cool! i LOVED the lashes! must get it! lol!

2nd shoot- she started freestyling some black & gold body art on my shoulders, chest, neck n side of my face! turned out to looke incredible n very tribal! :) then she covered my eyes wit black lace n so basically the whole shoot, i cudn't see anything! wa a bit hard but i loved it n the lighthin was great! made me look like an 'african goddess!'- i quote Camille! hahhahhahaha

but seriously enjoyed it n im lookin forward to doing more stuff wit her! she's the BEST make up artist i've ever known and she's really gonna go far in her career! its a definate!

I had an incredible dinner! unfortunately i didnt bring my camera to take pics but i'll make it quick!

Went to a great Chinese Restaurant in Jaya33 (think its Oriental sumn) n its huge!! n had dinner wit parents n uncle n aunt n their frens! n we ate a 6-course Chinese dinner! it was fab!! *Kris, wished u were there, honestly!

Here's a list of wat we ate! ahhh it was great!

-Peaking Duck (the best i've ever had!)
-Supreme Braised Sharksfin Soup
-Steamed & Deep Fried Bawal Fish
-Mushroom, Abalone & Sea Cucumber in oyster sauce
-Ginger Jumbo Prawns
-Stir-Fried Duck in Lettuce

oh it was just yummy! :) am stuffed~

one of the best parts of the dinner was when they started talkin bout all the best foods n all tat! lol! we were being the TRUE TYPICAL MALAYSIANS!!! hahahahahah! seriously! from things like; where to get the best curry laksa, to the best wan tan mee n everything!!! hahahah this went on for like 1 hour n u know, i loved every minute of it!

Being Malaysian n talking bout our number 1 passion- Food is just always awesome la! it never gets old! =D ain't that right peeps?

I think i've been very uninspired lately to blog! buutt i def have stuff to talk bout now! lol!

A few hours ago durin dinner, i witnessed a Cop Chase! woot! we were dining al fresco in Subang Section15, n suddenly heard a light crash n glass shattering! turned n saw bout few 15 metres away, 4 guys were trying to stop a moving car, like they were trying to corner it themselves!

but obv they cudn't n this criminals just zipped out n sped by the restaurant to get away, then those 4 guys who were actually copos undercover jumped into their police car n followed them! whooaa!!

damn cool wei!! unfortunately we cudnt see wat happened after coz they zoomed out of sight but it was still dramatic to see! haha felt like we were in those movies! lol!

Yesterday me, Farah, Vennila, Cyan n Mesh went for Cheer 08! whoot D*STARZ!!!!!!!!!!! ahh we made it Just in time to catch them n i have to say tat im proud of em!! (oh n thank you to AIN for some new pics!)

Their routine was clean, it was sharp n they've improved on their stunts n jumps! n BRAVO on the fact tat no stunts fell! GREAT JOB!! =D my criticisms will be:-

c) u guys shud stick to our D*STARZ tradition of havin a traditional influenced part.. like some Malaysian music n movement, coz tat was one of our STRONGEST points!

then went out n had dinner at Souled Out n then to China White Club! freaaaaaaaaakiinn awesome man!! the one & only, the legendary DJ Fuzz spins there on Friday nites n honestly it was the best Hip Hop & RnB music played ever! (DJ Fuzz is one of Msia's BEST djs!-he's a legend) i mean, if ur really into great hiphop/rnb, u HAVE to go to China White la. n the place is PACKED wit Africans! its soo fun coz these ppl can actually dance well n its just a great atmosphere la! the only thing is tat u can only go after 1am, coz tats when it begins! :)

today pulak went to LimKokWing's Graduation Fashion Show at Pavillion n it was real good, to my suprise! like, the students (most of em!) really did some interesting stuff! n the turnout was huge! damn proud of my college la~ haha so me n Trish were busy wit our DSLRs! hahaha will upload some shots soon!!!!!

n i just got back from dinner wit some of my oldest frens! was nice-went to Decanters-but the food sucked. eugh!

Thomas Beatie, aged 34, was actually born a woman! he obv had a sex change, and had his breasts removed, hormon treatment but chose to keep his female sex organs! apparently he did this coz he's always wanted to have children. so he announced on Oprah, in April tat he was pregnant!

n on last Sunday, he gave birth, naturally.. to a healthy baby girl! hmm.. good for him i guess, its just kinda freaky..

n why the heck did Nicole Kidman name her newly born baby girl, Sunday Rose?? n the baby was born on Monday too! hmm, celebs r gettin cracked up! seriously!

Top Cover Concert

whoa! so the US Embassy hosted an event for the YES Alumni in occasion of the 4th of July! :) n they brought in the US Air Force band called TOP COVER to perform!

it was great! really! the band were great n they played covers of some real cool songs n we were all just dancing n singing n jumping the whole nite! it was SO great to see our batch of YES 07! not all were there, but alot! so we were all hugging n catchin up n camwhorinyeg! n the YES 08 batch who had just arrived back to Malaysia on the 5th of July were there too!

they were so hyper but it was great! i mean.. seeing all our old frens, n being around Americans (who btw were really nice n asked us bout where we stayed) was just so.. refreshing n it brought back so many memories of my time in the US.. i know i talk bout it often but it was just such a great experience...

goin on exchange is nothing like just goin abroad to study. its so completely different! we have to live wit a complete strange new family n learn their lifestyle n go to their schools n fit in.. n we teach them bout our country too. so as we danced n made trains around, n linked hands n made a big circle during the last song i think alot of us were happy tat we got tat super 'once in a lifetime' experience! a few kids who just came back were crying, i cud understand... when i got back i didnt really feel like i wanted to be back.. dont get me wrong, i love my home, n i did enjoy seeing my family n frens again, its just tat i just missed my 'other family' n my 'other frens & other school'.. i felt like my time was too short..

Dan was back! :) he was the only student from the new batch that we all knew, so we chilled n heard stories! then later(after much cam-whoring) a bunch of us went to Reggae Bar in China Town n just chilled out! listened to the music, played pool, had drinks n talked n sang n wat nots! lol! eventful eventful!

when i was in the US, i kept a journal which i religiously wrote in bout twice a week, n everytime id do so, id pen down a 10-12 page entry! seriously! i basically wanted to write down everything so tat 15 years from now, when i look back thru the book, i can read every detail of wat happened n all my feelings.. i still read it now n then n it just feels like im at tat very moment now! loL!

uuhh yes!! :) i once again have a blond streak! hehe got to the salon today to trim my bangs n my hairdresser added a lil *ZAP* to them!

so now i have golden bangs! lol! i know they mite be lala at 1at, but honestly, i dont care! i freakin LOVE EM!!!!

then we went to Delicious in Bangsar Village 2 to eat! n Farah & Lal joined us! oh it was fun! i had the Carbonara Spaghettini n it was yum! n so was the mashed potatoes! :) n the amount of camwhoring n laughin was.. *typical sri-amanian* hehehe ;p

whoohoo!! hehe found this song last year n loved it so decided to put it on the blog! :) yeah so for some reason im in this sort 'dance-ish' mood! so i updated a few songs on my Blog player, so listen up for fun! :)

so last month, during final projects n all tat i was really busy, n i had lost some weight during that time.. non intended tho! n now im a terrible 40kg!! tats like 88pounds! ekks!! am definately dissapointed so im trying my hardest to put on some weight, coz i dont like myself like this! im normally 45kg so i plan to gain bout 5-9kgs!

the thing is tat its really hard for me to put on weight, i lose it easily.. so.. i need help.. only 6 months of continously gluttonny in the USA caused me to be 20 pounds heavier.. hmm. dont want tat much tho.. a nice 46-47kgs is all i am! :)

so im trying to eat alot of fattening foods n more.. but i need to know wat else will work.. n F.Y.I i do not have an eating disorder! just have a high metabolic rate.. so dont go jumpin to conclusions!

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WAT FOODS TO EAT TO HELP ME GAIN SOME WEIGHT BACK??? PLEASE!!!

So ive been on my sem break n therefore been bumming around, eating and watchin movies non stop at the cinemas! :) oh the joy!! :)

so lets start wit my FAVES this times n let it end wit boos!

The Incredible Hulk

ah! funny funny- i so didnt wanna watch this movie at 1st since i thought the 1st one was crap n was really reluctant la. but just watched it in the end n honestly ppl, if u havent watched it yet, y better drag ur ass to the cinema n catch it! its, um, INCREDIBLE! hahaha its starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner & Liv Tyler as Betty Ross! lets just say that this movie was action-action-action from the very beginning-the end! i mean the effects were great n the storyline kept us all at the edges! apparently its coz Marvel recently took over all the filmin of their comic book characters movies, n therefore, its more satisfying!
*look out for Stan Lee's appearance too! he'a actually also in X-Men! did u notice? ;)

also-- Hulk+Stark (Iron Man's yummmyyyyy Robert Downey Jr. makes an appearance!) + other Marvel comic super heroes= Big Kahuna Chaos!! cant wait!!! so to blow ur mind away-watch it! lol!

Get Smart

This was absolutely hilarious!! :) with Steve Carrell as the main man, how can u expect any less than laughter? hahaha Anne Hathaway is also in it n she does pretty well! the movie is bout Max gettin out in the field n catchin the bad guys-duh! but ah seriously, do catch it, comedic cool secret agent stuff!! :) if u need a stress-reliever or just a good tickle, catch it!

Across The Universe

ok ok so i know that this is old, but still, i finally got my hands wit it, so just watched it the other day! oh mamma-mia! it was cool! 1st off- its basically a musical tribute to the Beatles, n it features 33 of their songs in the movie. The movie is set in the 60s during the American Revolution. Jude(yes, its from the Beatles song), played by the incredible singer- Jim Sturgess(soo cute!!) comes to the US n makes frens wit Max n his sister Lucy(played by Evan Rachel Wood)! n its a basically a musical of the whole journey! alot of ppl told me tat its such a 'trippin' movie- meanin watched n enjoyed best when high.. i wudnt know since i dont do drugs, but i can definately see why they'd think so la! its cool tho! parents also watched it wit me but they were a bit bewildered at the crazy 'high-colorful' parts.. so if ur into Musicals, or just wanna watch a trippin movie then catch it! i enjoyed it! :)

now this movie is starring Jim Sturgess (hot hot hot-also in Across The Universe!!), Kate Bosworth & Kevin Spacey! this movie is bout the world of 'Card Counting"- basically using Math with Probability to count odds n chances in Black Jack, incredibly hard yet cool- n also legal but banned in casinos. So Ben (Jim) learns this art from his teacher Prof.Micky (Kevin) n they work in a group to clean out casinos! its quite cool- but i think i expected more from this movie. still really interestin, do check it out, just sayin tat i hoped for more..

Definately Maybe

well honestly this was so average- it was a nice movie, funny at times, but just okay only la... nothing great bout it.. its starring Ryan Reynolds & Abigail Breslin as his daughter, n he tells her the story of how he met her mother, but the story is about 3 women n she has to guess which one is her mom! its a sweet movie, n me n my mom enjoyed watchin it on a quiet nite. i just think i also expected more from this... hmm..

The Bank Job

watched it coz had nuthn better to watch..its based on a true story tho! well the movie was pretty cool i guess. its starring Jason Statham(-The Transporter) as Terry. basically he n his frens-who r a team of crooks, team up n plan to rob a bank's vault, by drilling underneath and gettin there! oh n its a British movie! so hahaha typical Englishness! lol! its not tat bad of a movie to watch, honestly! just a bit dry at some points.. i guess u watch it on a afternoon eh? :)

How She Moves

this movie was incredibly bull shit!-its soo boring, all predictable, nuthn new, storyline sucked n even the dance was bleh.. im not even gonna waste space n time on this movie.

so yeah! i think this is it for my current movie reviews! for now, that is! lol! gonna watch Wanted tomoro!! :) n cant wait for Hancock n many more! ill post them soon too! :)

Stars & Cigars

sorry i didnt update on movies, yesterday!! i was out the whole day!! acks! :) 1st of- Germany lost the finals.. sigh.. but Spain played well! do give them that! n Torres is Yummy!! just wish they made the game more interesting! fell asleep coz it was so boring!

But yesterday was a phenomenal nite! was asked to be a part of the ushers by Shaq&Grace at "The Grammy of Brands" a.k.a. the 'Brands Laureate Awards nite!'

oh it was fun!! we represented Talents Unlimited as ushers! got to the Sunway Resort Hotel at 1 for fitting with Malaysian designers gowns, n i wore a gorgeous lil cocktail dress by Nthiran! its super cute, a gold short dress wit butterlfy sleeves n low back wit turqoise details! :)

n lets just say tat the 30 of us, girls n guys, looked FAB!!! :)

basically this awards nite is held to give out awards to companies in Malaysia & South East Asia to recognize 'the best of the best' la! n its a HUGE event n guess wat? I GOT TO MEET N TALK TO AMBER CHIA!!! ahhh!! i LOVE her!! she's the winner of the International Guess model search n basically she's my idol for a Malaysian Model! n she smiled at me n came up to me n asked me a question! *ahhh!! i was on cloud nine! sigh tho didnt get to take a pic coz i dint bring my camera!* but wow! tat was the highlight of my nite!

n also Tun Dr.Mahatir our former Malaysian Prime Minister was there! :D wow! tat was honestly such an honor!! :) n he was awarded the lifetime achievement award! so we were basically busy runnin around inviting n welcoming guests n VIPs n i pinned corsages n then during the dinner, we were given a list of award recepients n we had to find them n bring them back stage! acks! VIPs! :) but we had fun la! all were playin, cam-whorin n the guys n some girls were enjoyin the free cigars that were sponsored by Davidoff! i brought home 2 for my dad! :)

after that we were just there to look pretty n take be photographed wit the winners n wat nots! but it was great! n in the end i got paid! =D glee!

Le Memorial

Yesterday we had a short lil memorial for Hannah n it was nice! bout 64 ppl turned up. I read the verse from 1 Corinthians 15:50-57 n it was nice n then mummy read out the speech that Hannah's mom, Caroline had given during the funeral while i ran pictures of Hannah at the back so naturally alot of ppl were tearing up..

I somehow held it together the whole time.. u know i was thinkin alot bout how Hannah took her illness... she was so incredibly strong thru out the whole thing, she never once fussed or got angry wit God, in fact, it drew her closer to Him.. amazing isn't it? her faith grew so much, as did our whole family's... once a few months ago, in the midnight, Hannah had struggled and gotten out of bed just so she cud get down on her knees n pray.. i was just so amazed at how strong she was.. i honestly hope that my faith in the Lord, shall be as strong as her's was! :)

in a few days time,it will mark the 1 year that i've been away from the USA... cant believe it flew by so fast! God i miss the States soo much! :( esp my host family, friends and Rita's Italian ices in PA, n Philly cheesesteak sandwiches.. hoagies, BAGELS!!!! wat else? i still have A TON of twizzlers left tho! oh mamamia!! someone please send me food!!!!

was just talkin to my parents bout me going on a Euro trip next year! wanna go to Paris n see Jade, my french twin, and go to Italy n visit Riccardo, Spain? with Jade n visit Jorge n perhaps Germany to see Bonnie n Jon! n also England for Sha & Liz!! :) but if Europe doesn't happen, then i HAVE to go to the States! by hook or by crook ill be there next year! New York again, PA- Allentown specifically, n maybe LA to see Kim? hmm...

i gotta go!
Need to go plant my money tree n start growing money! wish me luck!!!!! ;p

*February 21st 1990 - June 21st 2008*

...was never an easy thing to do... especially if it is to a loved one who u know ur not gonna see in a long time...

Hannah's funeral was yesterday n from what i heard from Kris, it was just beautiful! alot of people turned up to say good bye and alot of nice things were said bout her! The Hakka was also performed and 3 songs were sang.. they were :

1)Shout to the Lord
2)Dwelling Places
3)Jesus, Lover Of My Soul.. *this was special as Hannah had sung it in chuch perfectly when she was 4years old!*

it was so evident that Hannah, even tho she had only lived for 18 years, had succesfully touched so many people's live with her ever bubbly, happy, monkey, kind and loving spirit! her best friend mentioned tat a long time ago, Hannah said, "when i die, i hope alot of people will come to my funeral, otherwise it'll be horrible if only a few came!" i think its clear that Hannah is definately looking down from Heaven, feeling happy at the turnout... she was later taken away to be cremated...

as i was preparing the Memorial Service booklet & powerpoint presentation yesterday, i was a bit shocked to find this.. Hannah's life span was from February 21st 1990 - June 21st 2008! that is Exactly 18 years & 4 months!! its scary, but also incredible how God planned it all, huh? The Big Man up there is up to something that He's not telling us.....

my 2 aunts who were there in New Zealand for almost 1 month, helping out and giving support are coming back tonite, they'll definately be telling us more bout Hannah's last few days.. oh dear! my grandparents are going to cry even more! :( tomoro at the service I've also been asked to do a reading, so a bit nervous!

anyhow... life goes on.. we try to make it work.. like i said ive been feeling much better recently.. yesterday treated myself at Topshop and bought High Waisted flared jeans! it was soo cheap! only RM59!! :) they look sassy! n also 2 cute ribbon-tied undies.. need some retail therapy!! :) MNG is also havin a HUGEEE sale, but the thing i hate bout MNG on sale is that its soo messy, the store is all messed up n unorganized n packed!!! ugh! its hard to look for stuff!!

i had a good breakfast catchin up wit Misha yesterday! its good to see her after a while! n tomoro im meeting my gorgeous twin, Riyana!! n on Friday got a bbq party at Berl's!! :) am happy to see my old old frens after so long! :)
